When you are finishing up with your dancing, it is best to clean it so you can come back and start back up without worry. Here are some ways to keep it clean. Always use a fabric of cotton or synthetic mix that are not too fluffy to wipe down your pole. There are special polishing cloths you can buy that will give it a showroom look. That takes care of the cloths as well as the cleaner but can be more costly. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, here are a few ideas.
Acetone, like nail polish remover, will get rid of greasy marks on your pole. It is best to use a small amount mixed with water to wipe it down with. We do not prefer this.
Alcohol. Gin. Used in most strip clubs because it is cheap and does the job. Mix with water and this should clean and sanitize.
Use babywipes without lotion but with alcohol.
Plain water. Wash and dry like you would with anything else.
Glass cleaner. Many swear by this and it works great.
Please note. Alcohol can be used with our poles but is not advised by some. Make sure to notice when buying a pole if any instructions are given specifically for that pole.
Stay away from heavy wax and polish. This causes the pole to be too slippery which makes it dangerous.
